In short
- You saw it yourself. Report players from matches you were in, not what someone told you or what you found in a clip online.
- Evidence is required. Every report needs video. Screenshot-only reports, phone recordings and links to other sites are denied automatically.
- Reports are public. Your report and the account you name become a page anyone can read and search engines can index.
- False reports cost you your account. Filing something you know to be untrue, or filing to harass someone, is the fastest way to lose access.
- Bans lock the account. A banned account cannot sign in, and its reports and replies show without its name until the ban ends. We tell you what it was for and when it ends, not the details of the decision, and you can appeal.
- Posts are checked automatically. What you write is checked before it goes up, and anything we record against your account stops counting after 90 days. Your account standing page shows where you stand.
1Who we are
1.1 reputation.gg is operated by REPUTATIONGG LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States. On this page "we" and "us" mean that company, and "the site" means reputation.gg and the desktop overlay.
1.2 The site is where players report Rainbow Six Siege accounts for cheating and other misconduct, and where those reports are reviewed and published. Rainbow Six Siege and Ubisoft are trademarks of Ubisoft Entertainment, used here only to describe the game. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Ubisoft. The site's own design, text and software belong to us or to our licensors.
1.3 Using the site means agreeing to these terms. Filing a report means agreeing to more than reading does, because an accusation here has consequences for someone else. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.
2Your account
2.1 You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Rainbow Six Siege carries its own age rating, and meeting our minimum does not mean you are old enough to play the game.
2.2 Reading the site needs no account. Filing reports, commenting and voting need one, and accounts are created by signing in with Discord. Anything done through your sign-in is treated as done by you, and anything you post is published under your username. One person, one account: creating a second to get around a ban, or to file reports you could not file from your first, breaches these terms. While an account is banned it cannot sign in.
2.3 You can ask us to delete your account at any time using the contact page. Reports you have already filed, and the evidence attached to them, may stay published, for the reason set out in section 4.
3Filing a report
3.1 Report only players from a match you were in yourself, in the category that fits what happened. The match id is checked automatically, and a report whose player was not in that match will not stand up.
3.2 Video evidence is required, along with a written description and a view of the scoreboard showing the match id. Screenshot-only reports, phone recordings of a screen and links to other platforms are denied automatically. The report form sets out exactly what each report needs.
3.3 File once per incident. Repeating the same accusation to keep it visible is misuse of the site.
3.4 You may file anonymously, and hide or show your name on a report you filed at any time. That hides your username from other members, on the report and on the replies you post there as "Anonymous reporter", but not from staff, and it does not change any of the rules here. It does not hide your in-game name from the evidence you upload. Staff may hide or show your name for a good reason, such as abuse of anonymity, and you will be told.
4Evidence and the rights you give us
4.1 Upload only footage you recorded yourself, as evidence for the report you are filing, and only material you have the right to share. Nothing unlawful, sexual or unrelated to the report.
4.2 Do not upload anything that identifies a person beyond the account being reported. No real names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces or private messages. Reports that expose someone's personal information are removed and cost you your account.
4.3 Evidence is published on the report page and may appear in the clips gallery, so treat everything you upload as public from the moment you submit it. We may transcode, compress or thumbnail it so it can be displayed, without altering its substance.
4.4 You keep ownership of what you upload, and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, adapt for format, publish and display it on the site for as long as the report it belongs to remains published. That license continues if you delete your account, because stripping the evidence out of a decided report would leave a public accusation with nothing behind it. You can ask us to take specific content down using the contact page.
5How reports are decided
5.1 A new report is pending until a moderator reviews it, and is publicly visible while it waits. A moderator either upholds it, which bans the reported account on reputation.gg, or denies it, and may attach a message explaining the decision. Moderators decide on the evidence in front of them, and we do not promise a review within any particular time.
5.2 A decided report can be reopened as an appeal. If a report got your game account marked Banned, appeal it on the appeals page, not in the report's comments.
5.3 A ban here is a ban from this site. It has no effect on your Ubisoft account, and we cannot ban anyone from Rainbow Six Siege.
6If you are the one reported
6.1 You do not need an account here to be reported. When someone reports the account you play on, a public page is created showing the account name, the category, the reporter's description, the evidence they uploaded and the outcome once it is decided. These pages can be indexed by search engines.
6.2 Some reports show a placeholder instead of the player's name until a date set by staff, after which the name becomes visible.
6.3 A denied report is marked as denied and stays on the site, because the record of an accusation being tested and rejected is part of what makes the site useful. To challenge a report or a ban, use the Discord server. For anything else, use the contact page.
7Conduct and moderation
7.1 Filing a report you know to be untrue, or filing one to harass someone, costs you your own account. This is the fastest way to lose access to reputation.gg.
7.2 A denied report is not the same thing. Reports get denied because the evidence was not enough, and filing one in good faith that does not stand up is not held against you. Between those two cases we may warn you, suspend your ability to file, or ban you, depending on the pattern.
7.3 Accusing someone of cheating in public can cause them real harm. Do not file unless you believe what you are saying is true and the evidence supports it. Beyond reports, do not:
- harass or threaten anyone named on the site
- organize brigading, mass reporting or coordinated voting
- scrape or bulk download the site, or run automated tools against it
- attempt to break into or overload the site
- upload malware, or interfere with anyone else's account
- present yourself as staff or as another user
7.4 What's not allowed. Each of these is a category we record against an account, and each one can lead to a warning or a ban depending on what you did and what is already on your record:
- Spam. Automated posting, advertising, or content with nothing to do with the report it sits under.
- Offensive username. A username that is a slur, hate speech or explicit sexual content.
- Abusive language. Attacking or demeaning another person. Trash talk about play is fine; going after the person is not.
- Sexual content. Explicit sexual material, anywhere on the site.
- False or bad-faith reports. Filing something you know to be untrue, or filing to harass. See 7.1.
- Discrimination. Hate directed at race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Evidence tampering. Editing, staging or misrepresenting footage to make a report stand up.
- Personal information. Posting someone's real name, address, phone number, workplace or other private details.
- Threats. Threatening violence or harm against anyone, in or out of the game.
- Ban evasion. Making a new account to get around a ban. Always permanent.
- Other breaches of these terms. Anything in 7.3 that the categories above do not already name.
7.5 Automated moderation. Replies, reports and the descriptions you write are checked automatically before they are posted, and something that breaches 7.4 is blocked and recorded against your account. These checks get things wrong, both ways. If yours was blocked and you think that was a mistake, tell us through the contact page and a person will look at it.
7.6 Your standing. A violation counts against your account for 90 days and then stops counting. Enough of them, and the steps run from a formal warning through temporary bans to a permanent one. A serious violation can skip steps or lead straight to a ban on its own, and ban evasion is always permanent. Being blocked several times in a few minutes pauses your posting briefly, which is not a warning and is not recorded against you. We do not publish the exact thresholds. You can see where your account stands at any time on your account standing page.
8The desktop overlay
8.1 The overlay is optional and works only while you are signed in. In a match it sends us the accounts it sees so it can show you what this site knows about them. It reads what the game already displays, does not modify the game, and gives you no advantage in play.
8.2 Ubisoft sets its own rules for software running alongside Rainbow Six Siege, and those rules can change. You use the overlay at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any action Ubisoft takes against your game account. We may change or withdraw the overlay at any time.
9Suspension and availability
9.1 We may suspend or ban an account that breaches these terms, and remove or edit content that breaches them or that we are required to remove by law. Serious breaches can result in a permanent ban without warning. While an account is banned, its profile is hidden and its reports and replies show without its username; they show it again when the ban ends. We tell you the category a ban was for and when it ends, and we do not publish the details of individual decisions. To appeal, use the contact page with the reference shown on the ban screen, or reach us on the Discord server.
9.2 reputation.gg is free, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including the overlay and the clips gallery, and we are not responsible for services we depend on such as Discord.
9.3 Sections 1, 4, 10 and 11 continue to apply after your account ends.
10Disclaimers and liability
10.1 Reports are allegations made by users. Upholding one means our moderators found the evidence persuasive. It is not a finding of fact by us, by Ubisoft, or by any official body.
10.2 The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for content submitted by users. Where the law protects us as a host of user content, we rely on it.
10.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data or reputation, and our total liability for all claims is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10.4 You agree to cover our losses and costs arising from content you submit or from your breach of these terms.
11Law, changes and contact
11.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use the site from outside the United States you do so on your own initiative. Nothing here removes consumer rights under your own country's law that cannot be waived by agreement.
11.2 When these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. Material changes are announced on Discord before they take effect, and continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept them.
11.3 Before starting formal proceedings, contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Questions about these terms go to the contact page, or to the Discord server. Appeals against a report go through the appeals page.
